On December 4th, 2022, a loud fearful cry was heard near an apartment building. Tracing to where the sound may have come from, three children between the ages of six to ten tied a ribbon around a kitten’s neck — dragging the other end of the ribbon as if it were a dog. After those kids were bored with dragging the kitten, they abandoned it in a bush, leaving it to freeze in the cold weather. Once rescued, the vets found her shivering and freezing with only 300 grams at around four weeks old, she also had various scratches on her nose from the children. “Li Dong” was given to her as a name — translating to the beginning of winter. She was a very affectionate kitten, loving cuddles and making biscuits ( 踩 奶 ). Winter was very thin, about 100 grams lighter than an average four- week-old kitten. Fortunately, with the proper care from the vets, she was eating healthily and drinking normally. Sadly, Winter has FPV (Feline panleukopenia virus), from which 95% of cats die regardless of treatment. Cats with FPV would experience loss of appetite, depression, severe diarrhea, and dehydration.

2022 年 12 月 4 日，一栋公寓楼附近响起了惊惧的哭声。循声音来到其源头，找到三个年龄在六到十岁之间的孩子。他们在一只小猫的脖子上绑了一条丝带，丝带的另一端，好像是一条狗。那些孩子拖着小猫感到厌烦后，就把它抛弃在一个灌木丛中，让它在寒冷的天气里受冻。被救出后，兽医发现她在四周岁左右的时候只有 300 克，浑身发抖，冻僵了，她的鼻子上还有孩子们留下的各种抓痕。她的名字是 " 立冬 "，意思是冬天的开始。她是一只非常有感情的小猫，喜欢拥抱，喜欢给人踩奶。立冬很瘦，比一般的 4 周大的小猫要轻 100 克左右。幸运的是，在兽医的适当照顾下，她吃喝都很正常。可悲的是，立冬得了FPV（猫科白细胞减少症病毒），95% 的猫在这种情况下都会死亡，无论如何治疗。患有FPV 的猫会出现食欲不振、精神萎靡、严重腹泻和脱水的情况。
