Last week, the High School Biology Club (HSBC) dissected chicken embryos organized by the club leaders. By immersing the chicken egg into a saline solution and extracting the embryo from its yolk, they were able to isolate the chicken embryo and put under a microscope. It was a complicated experiment since they also had to take into consideration when the chicken embryo is at the best stage for dissection and match it up with the next club session. This process altogether was very interesting, since HSBC could see how a small embryo starts off and potentially grows into an adult chicken.
