College Info Sessions at Tsinglan

In November, Tsinglan hosted a series of top-notch university information sessions to help students prepare for application. These universities include the University of British Columbia, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the University of Cambridge.

Starred Major of the Month: Psychology For this issue, the "starred major" will be Psychology! To begin with, psychology is the study of the mind and behavior. Psychology includes the study of conscious and unconscious phenomena, such as sensation and thought psychology. 

Psychology is one of the most competitive majors, with average acceptance rates as low as 1-2%(collegetransitions. com). Future careers from majoring in psychology include being a psychologist (US national avg. $96,578), psychotherapist(US national avg. $87,678), and human resource manager(US national avg. $112,793).
