College Info Sessions at Tsinglan
During the months of September and October, Tsinglan hosted numerous college information sessions to better help students prepare for university. These universities included but were not limited to the Stevens Institute of Technology, Hospitality Business School (EHL), the University of Bath, University Arts London, Parsons University, University of Southern California, and much more.

Starred Major of the Month(s)
For this issue, the "starred major" will be Economics! To begin with, Economics is a popular subject among Tsinglan students. If you need proof, look at the number of your classmates and friends currently enrolled in IG Econ, AP Econ, or AL Econ classes. As a subject, economics is also a popular major and minor in college. According to the University of Chicago, economics majors "study how society allocates scarce resources."

A useful tool for AP track students is CB's Connect AP to Majors and Careers tool. On the website, you can explore the different majors, the relevant AP courses connected to each major, and the career outcomes for students interested in pursuing the degree. For example, for students interested in pursuing a major in Economics in college, some recommended coursework in high school are economics, maths, history, etc.
An undergraduate degree in Economics can lead to a variety of careers and graduate pathways. The usual careers could include economist, financial analyst, investment banker, etc. For more recommendations, go check out:
